The Incubator was a word frequently used in the .dotcom era of the Internet. At the end of the nineties there were many ideas that tried to bring people and thoughts together to prove that organized parts can be greater than the sum of parts. Many of these experiments failed, because the timing of each venture created serious synchronization problems between the incubated entities. Because of Recognos’ flexibility and creativity -- By facilitating and sometimes funding ideas with US marketing knowledge and Romanian development talent --Recognos has succeeded to incubate many ideas and are always working to materialize more.

To date Recognos has successfully incubated www.ndis.us, assisted Micronets New York in the creatrion of Micronets Romania, both companies were acquired by Vignette in April 2008.

Recognos also assisted OpsWare to setup a development office in Cluj. OpsWare was acquired in 2007 by Hewlett Packard who maintains and further develops the Cluj office.

Recognos also incubated a development office for another Silicon Valley based company, more details will be provided after the company will launch its products and will come out from the stealth mode.
